lyrics

/Žena, růže, píseň, revoluce/

Žena, růže, píseň, revoluce,
deklarace práv občanky a ženy.

/Woman, rose, song, revolution/

Woman, rose, song, revolution,
The Declaration of the Rights of Woman
and of the Female Citizen.
Man, gentleman, castle, machine, tradition,
Masculine Domination unchanged.

I have to wonder if we have done enough
for things to change.
I have to wonder if we are loud enough
when we have the opportunity.

Woman, rose, song, autonomy,
efforts to decide about their body.
Man, gentleman, castle, machine, hegemony,
a strange idea of democracy.

Violence, homophobia,
fear of femininity, socialization.

The complicity of the dominated in this violence
confirms their place in the social hierarchy.
We accept the power of dominant the better
the more we participate in its creation.
To reflect this power relationship,
we only have cognitive instruments
in which it is already contained.
In order to break these relationships,
we must abolish the conditions that created them.
